Railway Access and Multimodal Platform at Cacia This project comprises: Construction of a multimodal platform for commodities, located at Cacia (Aveiro); Construction of the railway connection of Aveiro Port to the Northern Line, through a stretch of 8,8 Km; Construction of railway connections to the various terminals of the port area (finished). This project aims: To constitute an alternative to road tranport for transport of commodities between the port and end client. To contribute towards alleviation of congestion in road accesses to the port. Funding Cohesion Fund (50%)/PIDDAC and REFER,E.P. Current Situation: Undergoing Environmental Impact Assessment
